My project will be for getting kids outside to play everyday. when my older brother and i were little we used to always play outside and now that my younger siblibgs are old enough to play outside by themsleves they choose to play video games. i would really like to infkuencee the kids of america to get outside and play!

    A Breeze Through The Apple Trees

 On a beautiful afternoon a family went on a trip to an apple grove to start off the holiday seasons.  The family of 5 went searching for any apples they could get their hands on.  They were instructed by the staff to “Run wild and pick up what looks good!”

    The kids set out the fastest straight for the Red Delicious first. The rain from the night before left the ground moist and little droplets of water on the trees. The family had come prepared with jackets and sneakers.  The father, John, was happy to lift up the smaller kids so they could reach the apples at the top of the trees or to explore birds’ nests.

    It was a very eventful day running through the trees. The family had lots of laughs when the mother, Krystal, started eating apples straight from the trees. They all took the long way back to their car and saw that there was a birthday party happening and that people were even picking out pumpkins! The shop was open so they purchased some snacks then piled into the car and headed back home. The youngest, Aidan, said, “I really had an awesome time Daddy!” as they drove over the windy roads.

Using all of his strength to run from tree to tree, Aidan leaves his sister in the dust.

The best apples are at the very top of the trees if you ask krystal.

Walking hand in hand this family searches for the best quality apples they can find.

A. Cheerleading is something i love to do and it is really interesting to me. I'd like to follow a cheer team throughout practice to show the pain and stress that goes into performing. some people believe cheerleading is not a sport but i hope to show just how much goes into this. every practice is different and new things happen. i hope to get some good photos of the coach pushing the girls to do better. im going to interview a few girls to see how they feel about the sport and how they are feeling in the moment as apposed to after ward and before. id like to see how the emotions change throughout.

My model was Brandon. He is a very complex person and very easy to work with because of it. I found that all i had to do was sit him a certain way and he would pose all on his own. He knew what colors would make his eyes pop and make other features look good so he wore outfits to compliment that. He was such a gentleman and went into any weird angle and pose i suggested. For anyone getting ready to do a portraiture shoot i would suggest doing a lot of research just like i did. Looking up how other photographers posed people and the editing styles can really encourage you to do bigger and better things. Also, choose someone who really wants to be involved. Brandon was really happy i asked him together!

I like that she isn't the center of the picture, yet she is the focus. she looks very relaxed and this looks like its just any regular day.

i like that this photo really shows her interest in animals and she looks genuinely happy. I would use this technique in most of my photos. 

This is not a classic school picture, but it is very classic. Her face is just straight on and that is perfect to have at least one of these shots.

Melanie looks amazing in this in how her body is offset. Her bend in her neck really pulls you in and id like to use a pose like this in one of my photos.

I love this picture because she is in a fragile pose but loolks very strong. She isn't in a traditional senior portrait pose and it still works for her.

She is really happy with her snowboard. Using things my model likes to do is a good idea to get them to really open up.

Having my model not only hold something that interests them but also having it surround them is a great idea!

I would like to use smokey effects like this photo because it looks very cool and mysterious.

Putting things in the foreground of the photo also is a good idea and it draws the viewer into the models face. 

using freeze motion in a portrait is an amazing idea. its unexpected so it really looks great when its done.

Action used in my photos to give them my unique look.

-The photos express what's important in their life
-The teens are told to bring their own props
-You should tell the model to smile with their eyes to get a good photo
-Most teens want photos like they see in magazines
-Parents have to be pleased so they will buy the photos, so it's best to do simple shots
-The students are asked to bring a nice "timeless" clothes
-It's good to let them express themselves but to also get classic shots
-You get better pictures when you let the model express themselves
-"Studio work will become more prevalent"

This is a garden of bushes in my neighborhood. When i babysit i like to read the kids books here and they all end up laying in the bushes. This shows depth of field and foreground, middle ground, and background. The sky in the back is the last thing you see, yet the best thing.

I really like this photo because the sky looks very gothic. Everything is perfectly formed around the trees and makes it seem huge. Lines are shown in this photo because the trees are going all different ways yet they are still leading to the sky. They make your eyes go to the top of the photo.

The trees in this photo just about frame the sunset. The sun is setting over the row of bushes. The sky in this photo looks like it is smoking. The sunset is making the sky lighter right before it goes dark.

The chains are in focus and have a small amount of color on them. This is a basketball court that my dad and brother played at. My brother is in korea now and my father has a knee problem so it now isn't used. I still go there sometimes to remember watching them play together.

I took two of these shots in the orchestra room because that is where i spend most of my time. I play the viola and am practicing a lot. One of my shots is of the dome because i love that when people come to our school for events they are always so amazed that it is so big.

This is my sketchbook cover i worked on. I have pictures i took this summer and a few from a while ago to show how much ive grown. My quote is "Emancipate yourself from mental slavery" from Bob Marley. I really like this quote because it means that you can be whatever you want, not just what you think you should be.

These are a few examples i liked of HDR photos. These all show different elements of art used in each photo. After finding these examples i am now going to take better pictures for this project.

I took this photo of Gianni Myers for a summer photoshoot. Using a unique background and dressing her in black shows contrast and creates a busy look.

I enjoyed this abstract unit very much. I felt as though this unit was more focused on editing and not much of the actual photo though. i liked this kind of photography, but i prefer straight photography. I like letting the photo be the special part all on its own. With straight photography the photographer's talents can be shown better.
