Ive learned that when shooting in different times of day and with different lights the subject can change.How the subject is shown can change due to the light used. Soft light can create light all over the face. Hard light can create shadows and crevices on the face.
I had success with the artificial light because i could change it as much as i wanted. I would recommend changing the ISO settings on your camera a lot in natural light to help.
