MOMA Questions

1. People were upset about the loss of lives in WWI and decided to rebel against what people perceived of things such as art.

2. Readymades are when a artist would buy something that was already made and put it in an art gallery. He was kind of spitting in the face of art.

Photos of me

I merged these two photos to show that i love to dance and be crazy but that i also really enjoy the outdoors. A lot of people don't know that i love hiking and getting dirty sometimes.

I have my own viola layered into this photo because i have played for years. I wanted to make it this color to represent my passion for music and this instrument especially.

Rene Magritte

1. An odd art developed from the strange things that happen in dreams.
2. A man wearing a bowler hat, this is significant because it is unclear what it really means but people believe that it represents himself.
3. He needed the man to look like he was closer and farther throughout the picture and it adds depth when they lose details the smaller they are.
4.They really want to portray things seen in dreams or that feel like they could be a dream world
5. These all make the weirdness within the photo look good. Also makes the images tell a story or show a message.
6. He wants it to be a mystery and for people to be able to identify with the pictures. And he saw his mother's dead body with her face covered with her night gown and it was very traumatic for him, he was only a child
7. He believes it allows viewers to focus on the subject
