-High Dynamic Range
-The best way to show what our eyes see
-used a lot in video games
-glorified neutral density filter
-need bracketed images
- should always reduce contrast through tone mapping
-HDR DOESN'T HAVE TO LOOK ARTIFICIAL
-minimal motion, but you do not always have to use a tripod
-adding HDR to a photo that doesn't need it gives it a dull fake look
-you actually have to work to get HDR photos to look good
-the photos look the best with nature
-you can take 5 shots for s larger bracket
-HDRI: high dynamic range imaging
-better in direct light
-even great photographers with amazing cameras can't capture all of the image
